About Me

Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Ashley and I wanted to take a moment to tell you why I got into Integrative Health & Nutrition—and why I’m so passionate about helping you heal, too.

Because the truth is… I wasn’t always this strong, confident, empowered woman you see today.

For years, I struggled with “mysterious symptoms” that no one could figure out.
I grew up with sensitive skin, allergies, hormone imbalances (heavy periods, bad PMS), and anxiety that eventually spiraled into full-blown panic attacks. Later, in my 30s, I developed mold toxicity that wrecked my immune system, hormones, sleep, and energy and started the journey of perimenopause that most doctors don’t know what to even do with to help women through this transition.

But let’s back up for a minute.

I first got into the health and fitness world back in 2009 as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.

After years of debilitating panic attacks in my early 20s, fitness literally saved me. I was desperate for a way to stop living in fear—afraid to go anywhere because I never knew when the next panic attack would hit. That’s when I started researching everything I could about what causes them.

I dove deep into nutrition, blood sugar balance, hormones, stress and the adrenal system, and neurotransmitters—and learned how the right foods and nutrients can actually support the calm, happy brain chemistry we need to feel at peace.

Then I discovered nutrition, targeted supplements and strength training. And everything changed.

I learned how lifting weights and the right nutrition doesn’t just transform your physique—it rewires your brain, strengthens your immune system, stabilizes blood sugar, and supports mental health.

Since then (back in 2009), I haven’t had a single panic attack in over 15 years.
And I’ve helped hundreds of clients naturally relieve—and often completely heal—their anxiety and panic attacks, too.

That doesn’t mean I never experience stress or moments of anxiety. It just means I now understand the root causes and know exactly what my body needs to stay balanced.

That passion for healing led me into health and fitness in the first place—I wanted to help others lose weight, get stronger, boost their confidence, and feel amazing inside and out.

I started at one of the top athletic clubs in Tampa, quickly built a full roster of clients, and eventually launched my own personal training business.

As I worked with more clients, I noticed a common theme: nutrition was where most people struggled.

They found healthy eating boring and restrictive—and I get it.

I’ve always loved food and didn’t want to feel deprived, so I started creating my own healthy recipes. One of them was a high-protein, all-natural, gluten-free pancake recipe I ate every morning. It kept me full, satisfied, and actually excited to eat healthy.

I started making it for my clients—and they loved it. That’s when I knew I was onto something.

Eventually, I launched my own natural food brand of high-protein pancake and waffle mixes to help people hit their nutrition goals without sacrificing the foods they love.

That business took off—I landed a deal on Shark Tank, sold out on HSN, and was featured in national health and fitness magazines as a nutrition expert.

But being an entrepreneur and building a national food brand came with a cost.
Eight years of constant work, stress, and “go, go, go” completely burned me out.

Around that time, I was living in an apartment with a small roof leak that turned out to be toxic mold. I didn’t know it at first—I just started developing symptoms. I also was in my mid 30’s and started experiencing the hormonal changes of perimenopause.

I woke up in the middle of the night with a racing heart, jolting out of bed like I was having a heart attack. My body was exhausted. I had severe allergies, recurring yeast infections, food sensitivities, and extreme anxiety for no reason.

Every doctor gave me a different answer—“It’s just stress,” “It’s hormones,” “You’re getting older”—and handed me another prescription.

But none of it addressed the real issue.

I was exhausted, hopeless, and didn’t know where to turn.

Eventually, I sold my food business because I needed to focus on healing. I spent the next several years rebuilding my health and digging into the real root causes of my symptoms.

Around that time, I met a Naturopathic Doctor at my local gym who became a friend and mentor. She opened my eyes to the world of Integrative Medicine and helped me uncover the hidden role of mold toxicity, nutrient deficiencies, and hormone imbalances.

It was like someone finally turned on the lights in a dark room.

From that moment on, I was hooked.

I learned how food and nutrients impact everything—not just weight, but also mood, hormones, gut health, and energy. I studied targeted supplementation, micronutrient deficiencies, detox pathways, and how to support the body so it can heal itself.

I also learned how healing the gut, proper nutrition, meditation, and strength training could rewire my nervous system from panic to peace.

I studied natural remedies and protocols plus bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for women in that 35-55 year perimenopause/menopause transition because of how much everything I learned in my Integrative & Functional Health journey has helped me in my own transition.

Within months, everything began to shift.

I started a mold detox and adrenal healing protocol. My gut healed, my food sensitivities disappeared, my anxiety lifted, and my energy came back.

My skin cleared, my hormones balanced, and I began sleeping 8–9 hours of deep, restorative sleep every night.

For the first time in years, I didn’t just look healthy—I felt it.

All without prescriptions or quick fixes—just by uncovering the root cause, supporting my body, and letting it heal.

That experience changed the entire direction of my life.

Over the next five years, I became Board Certified in Integrative Health & Nutrition, an Integrative Hormone Specialist, Certified in Strength & Conditioning, trained in Functional Lab Testing, Targeted Supplementation, and studied Nutritional Psychology and Biodientical Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Now, I’m deeply passionate about helping others—especially those in midlife—get their energy, confidence, and strength back by finally addressing what’s really going on inside.

Whether it’s hormone imbalance, gut issues, sleep struggles, anxiety, weight loss resistance, or total burnout—my work is about helping you become truly strong from the inside out.

Because I know what it’s like to feel dismissed, exhausted, and trapped in a body that doesn’t feel like you anymore.

And I also know what’s possible when you uncover the root cause and rebuild from within.

If you’re ready to start your healing journey and working with me 1:1 as your Integrative Health Practitioner, you can schedule a new client call where we will help get to the root cause of your symptoms and get you back on track to feeling like your best self here.

With strength & compassion,
